Texana Designs Cactus stamps

I have two cards with Texas cactus and some neat sentiments to accompany them.  The first is a get-well card using the Yucca stamp and Feeling Yucca? sentiment.

The second one I made with a similar design but used the Prickly Pear stamp and Finding Beauty in the Prickly Things of Life sentiment.

Both cards used paper from Authentique and olive green cardstock.  The images are colored with Copic markers.  I added bows for accent.

Texas Cactus

Today I'm showing you an old favorite of mine from Texana Designs.  The cactus is called Cactus Border and the sentiment is Loves Ya!.  I've had these two stamps a long time.  They are wood-mounted and signed by the artist, Joyce Meyer.  She taught me a lot about watercolor stamping.  Currently these stamps are available in cling mount. The cactus are colored with watercolor crayons using a water brush.  I put clouds in the background with a template, sponge and ink, and added some grass in the foreground with Copic markers YG95 and YG97.  I like all the Texas stamps!

Thanks for visiting my blog to have a look.
